Hello my dear friends, how are you? I decided to create this quiz for you so I can see if you know anything about my country and to give you some information about my beautiful country. Please, read each question and try to answer all questions first and then, read the feedback and the results :) I hope you’re going to like it..

The translation of that city would be "new market" because "pazariti" is an ancient verb that in nowadays is almost never used and it means "to buy. In nowadays we use the verb "kupovati"

Description: This series is about the family Golubović (mother, father, son, son's wife and their 5 children) and it shows us how do they manage with their problems that they have.

1. Serbia is located on the Balkan peninsula. It's near: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Italy
2. The official language is Serbian. However, every Serb speaks: Croatian, Montenegrin, Bosnian as well, because many years ago we spoke Serbo-Croatian language.
3. Sveti Sava was the first Serbian educator. Desanka Maksimović is our famous writer,so the correct answer is Vuk Stefanović Karadžić who did these reforms and that's how he made writing in Serbian much easier.
4. There are about 7 million people. It's the biggest city here in Serbia and it's a true metropolis. For people from other cities it's good because it offers so many opportunities for studying or maybe for work. For tourists, it's good because we have so many touristic places, monuments, parks, ... so you can never be bored.
5. Novak Đoković is from Belgrade, but he lives in Monaco. He started to play tennis when he was only 7 years old and he already knew he is going to be the best tennis player. He is married to Jelena Ristić-Đoković and he has a son called Stefan.
6. The winner was Marija Šerifović. She won in 2007 with the song "Molitva".
7. He got that prize in 1961 with the novel "Na drini ćuprija - the bridge on Drina". This novel was published in 1945 (for the first time)
8. In Serbia people use Cyrillic (that is the first letter) and Latin letters (people started to use them later). In the Serbian language there are 30 letters.
9. "Sopoćani" - an endowment of King of Serbia Stefan Uroš I that was built in the second half of the 13th century, near the source of the Raška river in the region of Ras, the centre of the Serbian medieval state. It is a designated World Heritage Site, added in 1979 with Stari Ras.
10. This series has been presented for three years (from 1993 to 1996) and it contains 70 episodes. The protagonists are: Bata Živojinović, Radmila Savićević, Tanja Bošković
